“Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same.” –Emily Brontë
I smile when I think of Hala and Billy. Fate introduced these two through mutual friends three years ago. After walking down a moonlit beach, they fell quickly and deeply in love. Bonded by shared experiences, respect, and a similar sense of humor, their love is the real deal. Every part of their relationship is genuine and honest. They have a mutual adoration for each other that you can just sense by spending a few moments with them.
There were so many delightful aspects of Hala & Billy’s wedding. I love that the wedding was held where one of their first interactions took place, the Kanapaha Gardens in Gainesville. I love that Hala’s beautiful earrings were passed down from her grandmother. I love that Billy had a note delivered to Hala in a ladybug box before the wedding. I love that the wedding day shared Hala’s birthday. I love how absolutely striking they both looked. I love the thought and creativity that went into every sign, cupcake, and centerpiece. I love that the wind robustly blew immediately after Hala and Billy exchanged vows. I love how in love these two are.
I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to capture this wedding. Hala and Billy, thank you for including me in your special day! And thank you to my wonderful assistant photographers, Rachel and Thomas, for supporting me along the way.

You are so phenomenal at capturing every little thing! This is amazing, Em. Made my heart smile.
